What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Your privacy is very important to us. We have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

• We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. We don’t have comment on the website and only collect email address from the contact form.
• We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, or protect our rights.
• We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

It is Two7 Design’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. If you supply us with another person’s details or data you warrant or promise that you have that person’s permission to give us that information. We will only use those details to contact them for that immediate purpose.

Children

We do not wish to collect any personal information from children without their parents’ consent. If you are under 13, please obtain consent from your parents or guardian before supplying any information.

Website Visitors

Like most websites, Two7Design collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how  visitors use our website. From time to time, Two7Design may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users – who will be members of Two7 Design. Two7Design only discloses logged in users under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to our websites choose to interact with us in ways that require Two7Design to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who fill in our contact form to provide an email address. In each case, Two7Design collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Aggregated Statistics

Two7 Design may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites. For instance, we may monitor the most popular pages on the two7design.co.uk site or use spam screened by the Akismet service and Clean Talk Service to help identify spam. Two7 Design may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Two7 Design does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

If you have contacted Two7Design through the website  and have supplied your email address, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new projects, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Two7Design. We primarily use our news blog to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via an email or one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Two7Design takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorised access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Comments

Comments and other content submitted to Akismet anti-spam service or Clean Talk are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
